Currently performing in her twelfth season as a veteran dancer with Orange County’s critically-acclaimed Backhausdance, Tawny is a graduate of Chapman University with a BFA in Dance Performance and an alumna of the Orange County School of the Arts’ Commercial Dance conservatory. She has performed the choreography of Jennifer Backhaus, Jodie Gates, Yin Yue, Ido Tadmor, Sean Greene, Liz Imperio, and Dee Caspary, among others. Her professional performance credits include Jazz Spectrum Dance Company, Sean Greene Dance Company, William Lu's DAS Dance, Fox Family’s House of Pop and music videos for artists Yo-Yo Ma and Clutch.

She is currently on faculty at Impact Dance Center (Los Alamitos) and the Orange County School of the Arts’ Commercial Dance conservatory where she also serves as a conservatory facilitator.
